We engineered a proprietary media player capable of leveraging ARM board hardware and its onboard GPU. By integrating the necessary hardware drivers, and optimizing the system, we achieved smooth hardware acceleration on the board while ensuring minimal CPU usage for critical robot software operations.

Come up with a modern version of proper browsers and hardware drivers to run graphically intensive videos on only 1 GB of memory, this posed a major engineering challenge which our engineering team was able to solve by integrating GStreamer with the Trahbot operating system.

A hardware-accelerated media player built on the top of Gstreamer, brought down the CPU usage from 95% to 10%, freeing the Trashbot brain for more crucial robotics processes, the Media continues to play smoothly using hardware acceleration during the uptime of the Trashbot or during disposal.
